Pink Claps Back at Ageist Troll

Pink left an online troll red-faced after the latter critiqued her on her age.

On Tuesday, 12 December, Pink – who is currently on her Summer Carnival tour – announced that she was adding extra tour dates for 2024.

This prompted a Twitter/X user by the name of @TimJonson19 to tweet the following: “Pink got old.”

Simple yet strong fighting words, ones that got the 44-year-old “So What” hitmaker clapping back in typically Pink fashion.

“Yes, although I don’t feel old, and I still get to wear a leotard to work, growing older is actually my first ‘grateful’ every day,” she retorted. “What a blessing to have life, years.”

Pink saucily added: “To be this strong, to be able To still p*** off complete strangers just by existing. F*** yeah times 44! [sic]”

The Grammy award-winning songstress is no stranger to ageism – back in 2018, she responded to an online troll with this prophetic tweet: “I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth, it means you’ve laughed a lot.

“I pray I look older in 10 years, ‘cause that will mean I’m alive.”
